The Inner Athlete Challenge includes 2 levels to suit every ability, including being pregnancy and postpartum-friendly. To determine which is right for you, see the comparison below.

Still not sure which is right for you? Good news - when you join the Inner Athlete Challenge, you get access to both levels so if you start with one, you can always switch later.

When does the challenge start?

The Inner Athlete Challenge starts on Monday, January 9.

What equipment do I need?

This challenge includes a combination of dumbbell-only and bodyweight workouts that can be completed at home or in a gym. We recommend having access to:

- 1 lighter set of dumbbells (5-10 lbs)

- 1 heavier set of dumbbells (15-30 lbs)

- Non-slip resistance bands (get ours here)

- Bench, box, or step

- Exercise mat

What if I’m already a subscriber to The Team Plans app?

If you’re already a subscriber, this challenge is included in your subscription and you’ll be able to start on Monday, January 9 with everyone else.

Can I buy this challenge without subscribing to The Team Plans app?

Yes! You can purchase just the challenge for $39.99 USD and you will have access to the app for 6 weeks.

Can I start at a later date?

Yes! However, one-time challenge purchase will only be available until Monday, January 9.

If you join after January 9, you will need to sign up for a monthly or annual subscription in order to access the challenge.

When will I get access to The Team Plans app?

If you’re not a current subscriber, you will receive login instructions by Sunday, January 8 at 11:59pm ET.

When will I get access to the challenge workouts?

Each week’s challenge workouts will be released on Sundays at 12pm ET.

How long will I have access to The Team Plans app for?

If you purchase just the challenge, you will have access to The Team Plans app for the duration of challenge, from the time you’re added to Sunday, February 19.

If you purchase annual access, you will have access to The Team Plans app for 12 months from the time you’re added.

Does this challenge include home and gym workouts?

This challenge requires minimal equipment and can be completed at home or in a gym.

What style training can I expect?

Our athlete-inspired training splits includes 3 full body workouts per week with optional workouts in between.

Regardless of which level you choose, you can expect a schedule similar to this:

Monday: Full Body With Weights

Tuesday: Mobility, Stability, or Core-Focused Workout

Wednesday: Full Body With Weights

Thursday: Mobility, Stability, or Core-Focused Workout

Friday: Full Body With Weights

Saturday: NEW Wild Card Workout

Sunday: Recovery-Focused Mobility

How different are the workouts between Level I and Level II?

Level I and Level II follow the same athlete-inspired training split of 3 full body workouts per week with optional workouts in between.

The key difference is in the duration, difficulty, impact, and intensity of these workouts.

Level II workouts include more sets of more difficult exercises and progresses to include higher impact and intensity workouts.
